CallVault
CallVault keeps a private record of your own phone calls. It's an Android
app with a web library. What CallVault hears depends on your phone.
Recordings stay on the phone unless you turn on private cloud backup.
What CallVault does

- Find a call by number, contact name or note, then export it.
- A banner and a notification stay visible the whole time it records.
- Private cloud backup is off until you turn it on.
What your phone can and can't hear
An ordinary Android app can't read the phone network's call audio, so
CallVault records through the phone's microphone path, and on many phones
the other person is clear only on speaker. An optional setting turns
speaker on. Test one real call before you rely on CallVault for something
important.
Plans change backup, not recording
Recording, playback, search and export are free on every plan. Plans only
change private cloud backup, which starts at 2 GB.
Google Play does not list apps that record calls the way CallVault does,
so it ships as a signed APK you download from the CallVault website.
