The CallVault pathClose walkthrough
From your phone to your library 6 steps
See how CallVault works
How does CallVault work on your phone?
On an ordinary Android phone, it records what the microphone can hear during a call, then keeps the file locally for playback, search, notes and export. Test a real call before relying on it; capture depends on your phone.
Step 1 of 6
01 / Begin
Start with your phone
- Download the signed Android APK from the CallVault website.
- Your first recordings live on the phone.
- Open the web library when you want to review recordings synced to your account.
02 / Prepare
Check the capture path
- Review microphone, phone-state, and notification access on Capture setup.
- Stock Android capture records what the microphone hears; compatible OEM recordings can be imported separately.
- Make one test call before relying on a recording.
03 / Find
Find the detail later
- Search the library for a local recording.
- Mark one to return to it later.
- Guest recordings remain on the phone; signing in removes the count limit.
04 / Listen
Listen to what was captured
- Play the channels your file actually contains.
- Save a note or export the recording when you need the detail elsewhere.
- A combined mix uses available channels; it cannot add a missing call side.
05 / Decide
Choose private cloud backup
- Local playback stays available without private cloud backup.
- Sign in with Google and turn backup on only if you want cloud copies.
- Check Backup & sync health when an upload needs attention.
06 / Review
Review from the web
- The web library lists recordings synced to your account, not every file on your phone.
- Open a recording to see its available audio and note.
- Your phone remains the place to make a new recording.
